About CJ2Much

Born August, 1991 in Louisville Ky, CJ Russell aka CJ2Much, the Alternative R&B ( also commonly referred to as PBR&B) artist, started making a name for himself when he was just 14 years old from competing in skateboarding and being seen in Thrasher magazine, to freelance photography, creating videos and graphic design..
In 2013 he picked up tattooing and took home in a shop called the Monkeez Uncle, where he was exposed to many types of people and culture..
That was only the beginning, the young ambition filled artist picked up song writing soon after a close friend asked him for some guidance writing a rap, which in turn lead him to becoming an aspiring musician.
Finding himself and his style by meeting other knowledgeable artist in the 502 area, such as La' Tray, Ko$Mik Kyda, he decided to proceed with pursuing music with any way he could.
After doing feature after feature and working on many music projects with others, he got his first show at a house party in Bedford Ky, performing with La' Tray, Kyda, Illusive, and several others, his music starting taking notice by people and he got his first small following which lead him to even more performances in Kentucky and the surrounding areas.
In early 2016 his co-written single "Tonight" featuring La' Tray had been accepted into Pandora Radio which was big news for CJ2Much.
He took hold of the opportunity he was given and put a push on making even better quality music with better lyrics and more meaning to him.

In search of ways to further his music he came across a rap contest held by Grits n Gravy, in which he got an honorable mention. The producer had loved what he heard.
After some time they collaborated and made several tracks, one being "2Much", the track that defined CJ2Much's sound for his project, "Club Feelin'".
He later picked up producing and continued creating his project with several features on it from local artist and producers that showed his party side of life he had so recently taken to.
The songs were released one by one until the Dual album release show that he had planned with the artist JT Antonini, who was also releasing his own album.
The show didn't do too well in attendance, but that didn't stop CJ2Much's ambition to put on an astounding performance.
Shortly after the release his project was accepted into Pandora Radio which gained him massive exposure around the world.

Early 2017, CJ2Much and long time artist JT Antonini created a music video with the help of Dark Heart Creative, to the song produced by RedEye Ent. called Classy, featured on both the artist's projects.

The debut of the video span 16k in the first week.

In August 2017, CJ2Much was invited to his first real interview with "The Goon Docs" which seemingly went smooth, but apparently caused issues with an artist he worked with, as he didn't associate with any of the crew at "The Goon Docs".

Which in turn pushed the artist to file a copyright take down claim on the songs they had created together at CJ2Much's home studio.
Passive and in search of peace without further conflict, CJ2Much let all the songs he had taken so much time to create with the artists of Louisville, get ripped away.
His album Club Feelin' was taken down..
Stripped of most of his music and efforts from the years he started, he's been constantly learning and creating to bring new and better vibes to his fan base.

The beat is well crafted and locks in the listener with what exactly the mood is. The beat is simple yet complex at the same time and the vibe the rhythm gives off is hypnotizing, looking to seduce every woman that listens to it. Very strong and modern Hip R&B sound meshes perfectly with his August Alsina type vocals!

Fresh out of Louisville, Kentucky, alternative R&B artist CJ2Much drops a new track "XO", which is available on digital services from 30th March. Channelling classic smooth vocals in the tradition of The Weeknd, R. Kelly and Drake, coupled with irresistible ambient beats, "XO" is the soundtrack to the after-party, capturing the wired comedown, the sexual tension and the hedonistic abandon perfectly.
A relentless sexual energy put to music with a great melody, hooks and dripping with atmosphere.
